I drove it in the rain for the first time today.
  • Wipers performed well and the rain sensing wiper adjustment seemed to work well. Some cars the rain sensing doesnt work as well.
  • I got to use the heated seats for the first time. They heated very quickly and completely, compared to my audis and VWs, felt nice with the massage!

Quite a few MA folks on here - kind of cool to see. We should select a car show at some point in the future and meet up. Glad to see a thread that captures the enthusiast side of things and not just complaints (there’s a lot to complain about to - I completely understand).

Got my MDX back in July of last year just as everything was going bonkers - but still got a damn good deal on it. It has been a labor of love since - all work has been completed by me except for the remote start, heated wheel, tint, and PPF. Everything I’ve done so far:

Accessories/Package Add-ons
  • Black Premium Plus Package (Remote Start, Black Roof Rails, HFA Sensor/Attachment)
  • Premium Sports A-Spec Package (Heated Steering Wheel, All Emblems Dark Chrome, Black Chrome Lug Nuts, A-Spec Premium floor mat)
  • Illumination Plus Package (A-Spec Illuminated Door Sills, Cargo Sill Trim, Welcome Lights)
  • Running Boards
  • Cargo Net
  • All season A-Spec floor mats
  • A-Mark Floor Light Projectors
  • Lower Lip Trims (didn’t end up installing the rear ones)
  • 21” Type S shark gray wheels wrapped in 285s
  • 35% Tint
  • Xpel PPF

Custom Work
  • Replaced grill surround with color matched
  • Replaced Matte A-Spec grille with gloss black Tech trim grille
  • Custom mount A-Spec badge on the grille
  • Wrapped front lower lip in matte black to match black plastic trim
  • Added Advance Ambient lighting to door pockets, front dash, and center console
  • Custom mounted the welcome lights under the running boards so they would still work

Work to be done
- Ordered a Type S “diffuser“ with the smaller exhaust cutouts so the quad tips will look a little cleaner (it’s on backorder until 2028…haha)

Just got done with my first pass of a ceramic wax last weekend. Will do another pass today or tomorrow if time permits. I will also try and get pictures once some sunshine comes out. Most of these pics below were taken back in March:

Great looking ride!!!! Can you post a photo with the doors open so I can get a better look at the running boards? Thanks!

so not everything is a good day,

I installed the jb4 and found out I received a bad batch of units from burger motorsports.

Installed a blackvue 590x 2ch front camera and it comes out blurry on playback. The wire going to the rear camera is too short, so I ordered an extension.

Sorry you have to wait but I'm sure you'll get it sorted!

I realized that someone managed to damage the leather on the lower cushion of my passenger seat :(
Tiny little mark but I'll notice it.

Replaced my dr590x-2ch and the front cam is no longer blurry. The rear camera is still a little blurry but I’ll figure that out later. having trouble getting the wire further up the front headliner above the rear view mirror. But overall happy.

Most of the times I have a stroller in the trunk so my groceries kept rolling like bowling balls everywhere in the back. Bought this nice collapsible compartment bag to fix that problem!

Crate. (Variocage Double L. I originally got a Variocage Double XXL but decided it was bigger than I needed. Also, the Variocage Double XXL would only fit in the car if the cargo mat was not there. So I sold the Double XXL, bought a Double L.)
Looks like that one fits perfectly...how big is your pooch? Mine is a 95 pound GSD

Two bearded collies. The girl is 40 pounds and the boy is 60. That's why I got the tow hitch on the 2022, to use with the Otto Step for entry and exit without having to leap the whole way, as shown here on my 2004:

Nice...my guy is 11 now so I tote a ramp to help him get out....he still insists on jumping up to get in and does fine.

Nice work! I kept it pretty simple today and just added some more bass to the stock system.

Nice! I've been looking to add some more bump to my MDX. I'd like to add a 12" in there somewhere with a clean install (I don't want a box just sitting in the cargo area). Could you tell us more about your added bass?
