To each his own! :p I've seen these MDX 'Advance' wheels up close and in person, installed on a 2013 MDX (and even from online pics) and wasn't too impressed with its overall design and failure to truly compliment/enhance the rest of the 2nd gen MDX's styling/appearance....looks kinda blah IMHO

While initially I wasn't a fan, I still think (if we're stictly considering Acura OEM wheels), HANDS DOWN, the factory 2010-2013 Acura ZDX 19x8.5 wheels look the best on a 2nd gen MDX (like Mr. Yumitori's 2008 MDX with OEM 2012 ZDX wheels below)! :29:
*HOWEVER getting a hold of a decent set of these particular ZDX wheels, still intact, is a very, very difficult task to achieve (unless you're willing to pay OEM Acura top price for a brand new set- if there's even any still available?!).

^ those ZDX wheels are #2 on my list behind the advance wheels. I think they look good also but difficult to source. I could not find any on ebay or vendor for a reasonable price. The new 2017+ advanced wheels (spiral look) do not compliment the 2nd gen. Doesn't match the body style imo.

*very RARE set of brand new OEM Acura ZDX wheels for $900 (shipped) on eBay!! (these likely won't be available for much longer!!) :surprise:

*if only these were available about 2 years ago I would have already completed Paypal payment on these by now!

How is it wise to install a wheel from an Accord, a vehicle that is considerably less in GVWR, to the MDX? The load rating on these wheels (though unknown) are vastly different. It would be fine to put MDX wheels on an Accord, but the other way around does not sound safe.

Since we don’t know the load rating we have to go off of past common practice. With no failures reported most ppl are comfortable. Not to mention wheels are pretty stout from the factory, not built for weight savings.

While the overall look of those 2015 Honda ACCORD wheels installed on a much larger 2008 Acura MDX is appealing, in the end I wouldn't feel that comfortable with having car wheels installed on a much larger SUV vehicle...sometimes SUV's like the MDX just need some...

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

nice wheels!...these look to be pretty close spec wise to the stock 2nd gen. Acura MDX 18 inch wheels, likely no wheel offset issues and/or requirement for wheel adapters- just simply throw them on the (2nd gen. '07-'13) X! :29:

Thanks! That's right, these are very close to spec. No spacers required. Just make sure to choose proper pattern (5x120, they each have two patterns), get proper lugnuts for these, as stock ones won't do because of the how lugnut holes are drilled. I've had them for about 6 years now, no complaints so far!

In my opinion, five spoke wheels generally look nice on MDXs.

 Some people just don't have ability to express their thoughts in writing. In my experience these same people might be perfectly able to communicate in person. I could never comprehend this discrepancy!

Wheel preference (on a 2nd gen. Acura MDX) can be an extremely subjective (and on occasion an emotionally debated) topic- what some may find to be attractive/perfect compliment to the 2007-2013 Acura MDX, can simultaneously be considered abhorrent to others...

*while I don't know the make/size/specs on most of the wheels pictured below- here are some aftermarket wheels on 2007-2013 MDX's that I personally find to be, with all due respect, particularly painful to the eye (sorry no offense intended if you happen to be the owner of any of these MDX's/wheels below!~ just my own personal opinion for which you're obviously 100% entitled to completely disagree with!):

And of course there are those below (in no particular order of preference) for whom I can relate to in as to potentially having good taste/wheel choice acumen that actually compliments/enhances the overall look of a 2nd gen. MDX! :29:
*fortunately these 2nd gen. MDX's from more than 10 years ago or slightly less, already inherently possess body styling/architecture that's actually still current in 2018 (unlike Ford, Chevy, GM etc., whose quickly out-dated cars tend to look similar on the outside, right off of the assembly line, in comparison to how they hold up on average long term- like pieces of <img src="https://us.123rf.com/450wm/kostsov/kostsov1411/kostsov141100103/33430802-piece-of-****.jpg?ver=6" width="5%" height="5%">! :p )
