Does anyone know if any performance parts have been released for the 2022 MDX Type S or are in the works? :)

I wonder if ‘factory limitations raised’ also includes lifting the top speed cap ? The JB4 I have on has the same if not better gains so unless the K tuner has some other benefits over that I don’t know that I would switch over.
That's basically one of the main reasons to use a flash tune, raise the speed limiter.

But even if you get a tune people routinely stack jb4 with tunes on other platforms. Allows you to get good logging function and make target adjustments up or down based on your specific hardware installed (where the flash tune can only really be set for one hardware combo)
So the JB4/Ktuner leave "zero bread" crumbs for a Acura Tech to detect?
From all the cars I modded, for warranty purposes, I always stuck to tuners that can be easily removed and install back on just that reason. JB4 only takes a few mins to remove and to put back on.
I wouldn’t trust dealers seeing my car with the JB4 in to risk any red flags.
I remove my jb4 for dealer visits but only to avoid undue hassle if my drive train shits the bed I wouldn't deny mods.

The jb4 is a pass through device, the only thing the car sees is normal operation. Maf and manifold pressure are picked off and reported as normal.

Unless the car had another sensor there's no way for it to know boost raised or other changes.

Any reviews from those who have installed the PRL intake and charge pipes mod? Looking to see what everyone thinks of changes in driving experience. I just did mine this past weekend, so have limited miles. Maybe it’s a placebo, but initial throttle response seems slightly better. Curious if anyone dyno’d just these mods for some imperial proof of the minor gains. Also, big thanks to those who posted about install. Without that knowledge getting the hot side charge pipe clamp into the IC would have been a much bigger pain in the ass.
Update for folks.

On Sept 19th I ordered the mid pipe/third cat delete from IMR America. I paid $460 as a pre-order for the part in full.

7 months later not a peep from them and no response to my emails.

I gave them until Friday before I charge it back on the cc, and even that is being generous.
Ooofff. That stinks. I would be calling on the daily at this point. Good luck.

According to their Facebook page they do have them in. Infinity Motorsports Racing

Do me a favor. When you get this, can you take photos of it on the floor before the install? I just love looking at fresh parts.
I just got a mdx type s a couple weeks ago, and the only thing that bugs me for now is the slight dead space in the peddle (or another way to explain it, it takes 0.5s to really respond), although I'm getting use to it. Does the JB4 do anything to help that? Curious about getting one either way though.
You would need a pedal booster if you want more throttle response. Should be plenty fast in sport and sport+ though. Someone posted a thread about a pedal booster just the other day.

Jb4 is awesome. I can't wait to get an IC and the other supporting mods on there for more boost.

Have some showing up today. Not sure when I will have a chance to install them, have some pretty big hands so am hopeful I can get to the hot side pipe without too much pain. Have the wife on board to do this and put the JB4 back on. Looking forward to the combo.
Man this thread has me seriously considering the JB4 😅

Got my imr 3rd cat delete pipe today, hoping to install with prl intake this weekend.

Will document and do before and after video.

Goal of the mod is bolt on better sound without modifying stock exhaust. Performance increases expected to be marginal.

nice! Does that have any effects on emissions ? Can’t wait for the video

the Prl intake is nice, adds a small amount of extra noise under the hood.

installing charge pipes as well?

Go for it

My understanding is that 3rd cat is after secondary O2 sensor, so it wont change computer emissions. If it does change computer emissions then I will be swapping back to stock. I no longer mess with stuff that will prevent me from getting a sticker in MA, too much headache.

I've had the PRL intake since october... TBH I forgot that I had it.

Just gonna wait for the intercooler to install charge pipes. In the course of installing the intercooler the charge pipes will be an additional 1 minute of work.
