The 2nd gen had 7 model years: 2007 - 2013
The 3rd gen had 7 model years: 2014 - 2020
(Model year 2021 was skipped)
The 4th gen has had 5 model years so far but if it goes 7 it would be 2022 - 2028

That would mean the 2027 would be pretty much the same as the 2026 but with some differently named gray color available and probably another couple of minor differences.

'But' - Acura sometimes does some odd things, like totally skipping the 2021 model year, and they've done some somewhat major things mid-gen like adding a hybrid in the 3rd gen halfway through the gen (2017), adding Carplay partway through the 3rd gen (2018), and changing the infotainment in the 4th gen to the touchscreen partway through the gen (2025). That means they could do anything, like not sticking to the 7 model year paradigm or stretching the model years one way or the other (late/early), or possibly making other somewhat major changes within a gen.

And from what I've seen Acura keeps the details of upcoming product changes and answers to questions like yours (which many of us have) very tightly controlled. They basically only let out info they want to let out for marketing reasons. There's usually some conjecture on forums like this that amount to 'wishes' that people have that they think they'd like to see, like maybe a hybrid or a phev or a much more powerful one, or ..., but those are simply wishes that have no basis in what's actually being done.

I haven't seen any insider info on this forum and importantly, I have no insider info either - I just threw out a few facts of what they've done in the past and we can try to infer what we want from that. I'll go with the guess that the 2027 will be pretty much the same as the 2026 but I'd be happy for that guess to be wrong if they decide to come out with a 5th gen then.
