Howdy,

I've had this lingering frustration with my TPMS light coming on the dash intermittently. It's not consistent. Doesn't happen every drive. Seems to be completely random.

The TPMS Sensors in the tires are just over a year old. I have confirmed on multiple occasions that the tire pressure is at the correct PSI. The TPMS light comes on by itself in orange / yellow letters. No low tire lights come on.

I am guessing that the control module might be faulty and was wondering if anyone knows exactly where it is located so I can replace it?

FWIW, shotgunning a problem like this by just replacing components can end up being a costly and frustrating experience. There are a lot of things that can cause the TPMS indicator to come on (without a corresponding low pressure alert), but (AFAIK) you need a HDS (Honda Diagnostic System) to read the DTC codes to figure it out.

As far as the TPMS controller... not difficult to swap. Might be worth a shot if a boneyard unit can be found for a reasonable price...
