So how many miles did you get on the Michelin Latitude

Before having to replace them? I only have 12500 miles on my X and the tires looks like they have less than half the thread left. I read a recent post here that someone was able to get 36000 miles on them. To be honest, mine looks like it has another 10-15000 miles left before I have to replace them.

I have just under 13k now and like you, it looks like about half left.

I am not an aggressive driver (anymore) and keep the proper inflation but these things just are not meant for 40k like other all season tires.

I am pretty much used to 20k replacements as the prior car was a M3, but I was hoping to get a little more life out of these things and if next winter actually has any snow I am concerned as the tread depth lessons.

As many of you know, I lease rather than buy, and usually for the term of the warranty.

Both of my MDX’s are base models with Goodyear Integrity tires. When ’03 was turned in it had 48,000 miles, original brakes and at least 15,000 miles left on the tires.

My ’06 also has GY Integrity with 18,000 miles. I expect no less than 50,000 miles on this set.

Is there something about either the ’07 and ’08, extra horsepower or SHAWD that is adversely affecting tire wear or is this just the Michelin tires.

Less than 30,000 miles on an all season tire that is properly inflated seems pretty low to me.

BTW, what is the tire life rating of the Latitudes – it is embossed on the side of the tire?

So the tread wear ratings are nearly identical. Something is wrong if you are getting less than 30,000 miles on the Michelins.

Mine might have lasted another 2,500 miles, bringing them just over 27k, but they would have been at the wear bars.

I keep my inflations great, have had the alignment checked and the wear was VERY even across the tread.

The ratings must not mean crap, I guess.

Probably keremoner. The CrossTerrains have only a 420 UTOG and I was able to get 55K out of my first set. So theoretically the Latitudes should last longer than the CrossTerrains. We'll see but I doubt it.

I got 62,000 mi. from my GY Integrities. Just bought another set of Good Years. Michelins are just over prices and last less than GYs in general. Why waste money!
There is more to a tire than long life. I'm happy trading off a little tire life for better performance out of a tire. With that said, I think the Michelin's are an ok tire with a high price. When I wear them out, I doubt I will end up with Michelins again.

I would not call 60K vs. 30K miles a little difference. besides I bet you could not tell the difference in ride comfort level between the two if you were blindfoldee
d. It is the placebo effect. You pay more and are told that Michelins are superior in ride quality and thus you think you feel it. I'd love the average person take a blindfolded test riding both and see if they can tell the difference.
