running light won't engage

My 01 MDX running lights will not stay engaged after the normal lights have been on for a while (not on high beam). If you push the switch in the lights come on but the switch will not stay engaged. If the car is just started and I engage the switch with the lights on it does stay engaged.
Any thoughts?

DRLs or daytime running lights. They must be after market cause there are none on the first gens. On the 2nds they're next to the fog lights.

Should have classified them as fog lights.

My guess would be a relay.
