Rear parking brake reset post pad replacement?

Thought I would do a quick change of the rear brake pads on my wife’s 2019 mdx. Caliper slipped and pulled the wires out of the harness plug on the plastic housing on the back of the caliper. I put the wires back in the plug. Now, it gives me a brake light with Lane keeping and cruise control warnings. Not only will the car not move, I have to push the start button three time to shut it off. What the heck have I done and more importantly, how do I fix it? TIA

Update: Dealer says the electronic parking brake can only be retracted by their computer and they want $195 just to hook it up. Then there may be "other problems". Is this a DIY project, or do I have to really take this vehicle to the deal to change rear pads? TIA

Thanks for the heads up, I haven't had to do this yet, but I'll be careful as not to let the plug disconnect.

Now that everything is back together, maybe try disconnecting the battery and reconnecting to see what happens - just a shot in the dark.
Pretty sure the video says to disconnect the plug before adjusting the piston. I didn't and suspect that was my snafu. Trying this battery disconnect. Somebody say a little prayer for me.

So, just to let any future careless DIYers like myself know the solution to not unplugging prior to piston compression: Battery disconnect for 30 minutes. Did run in park at idle for 10 minutes. Not sure it is necessary, just what I did. Used my scanning device to clear all errors (I have a Blue Driver bluetooth scanner which had errors in four categories to delete). Shut off and restart.

An unpaid plug for Blue Driver. I love this thing. It has been a huge help on a few cars now. Just saved me at least $195 minimum in dealer "diagnostics" on this situation alone, not to mention savings on other cars (and further grief from the wife, as this is her vehicle;)).

Thanks. I said a little prayer before and after. They say luck is when preparation meets opportunity. I just think God watches over drunks and idiots(who don’t unplug e-brakes).

No, it isn’t possible to retract the e-brake with the Blue Driver. It is just Code reader that can also clear codes(it does offer suggested fixes which can be very helpful). The piston needs to be rotated clockwise back into the caliper (not just pressed in). I used a manual brake tool. I bought the one at Autozone for $60. Probably could get something cheaper elsewhere.
