sorry~ i have no clue- i post pics of other peep's MDX's with aftermarket wheels...i believe that particular MDX owner lives in Puerto Rico- his username name should be somewhere in the (insanely) long thread...:29:

I thought that these looked a lot like ASA GT10 rims, but the lip throws me off...

2007-2009 MDX with aftermarket 19 inch wheels (make/width unknown)...on low profile tires:

Tire Rack has these on sale right now for $99/ea on closeout, they are Avarus AV10. Size is 20x9.5 +38 which is aggressive fitment for 2nd gen MDX, but the wheels won't stick out or anything. Offset calculator says they'll stick out 20mm more than stock 19" Advance wheels. Great deal for anyone looking to upgrade.

I placed my order, and went with 255/45/20, which will be an ever so tiny stretch probably, 265's and 275's $100 more per tire, so I'll be fine with 255's. Winter tires (Blizzaks) are going on my 19's. The center cap mesurement is the same for both wheels, so I should be able to swap them out. These wheels look nice and upscale without being blingy or too boyracer-ish. They almost look OEM, I like that.

I'll post pics as soon as I get them, which should be late this week.

Here they are, a little less aggressive fitment than I expected, which is good. Front sits just about perfectly flush, rear is still a tiny bit sunk, but good enough for me.

Wheels: Avarus AV10
Size: 20x9.5
Offset: 38
Weight: 31lbs (claimed by Tire Rack)
Tires: 255/45/20 General AS-03

20's still look small, but I think once I lower with custom springs it will look much better. I didn't want to go 22's for many reasons, I think these 20's look great and almost look OEM, which is why I chose them.

I'll update with some daytime pictures soon.

belated reply- these are very good wheels (especially for about $90 each- closeout price!)...hopefully the larger sized wheel doesn't throw off the overall handling and/or adversely affect the odometer too much....i tried running two set of wheel for my 2nd gen MDX- that was a pain for me- too much hassle...but if you have the storage space and/or don't mind switching up your wheels as the seasons change, then good for you. :29:

nice, peaceful home in the background btw...i like the landscaping! (u must be CA or FL?)

Sorry, I just saw the reply, thanks for the comments. Actually I'm in Seattle. Chinese windmill palms do pretty well in our climate. :)

So i posted a while ago, i had a maroon sport/ent, however it was sadly totaled (not my fault, 5 car accident). but i ended up getting another mdx. It isnt sport trim sadly, just tech and power tailgate. the stock rims are okay, but i painted them gloss black. i think they look good but too small. just sharing the look, any ideas? chrome handles or black? aluminum cross bars for the roof rack or nah?

Very nice finishing touches on this replacement MDX- black handles was the right choice!! MDX looks very clean and appears to still be in mint condition

what make & model camera did you use for these particular shots by the way?...they look quite professional! :surprise:

Thank you! I just took them on my phone, LG V20.
wow that Android phone you got there has a pretty nice camera:

LG V20 camera specs:
Dual 16 MP (29mm, f/1.8) + 8 MP (12mm, f/2.4), laser autofocus, OIS, LED flash...

almost seems like you touched up/enhanced the pictures via Photoshop....great pictures!

haha thank you! #teamdroid. i just edited them on my phone, i suck at photoshop.

Saw this at Daytona. Sorry its not a 2nd Gen but I was looking at ideas for my 2nd Gen.
not even the tinted windshield, plasti-dipped wheels with red acura center caps can save that confused oversized Kia looking thing of an SUV from looking like it wasn't dropped at birth- 3RD generation MDX was just one colossal step back for Acura's flagship vehicle (Acura went from a young Brittany Spears in her prime all the way to Mamma June- prior to her recent 300lb weight loss!) :(

*bring back the chief designer for the 2007-2009 MDX- or let the chick who designed the latest NSX take over the MDX design moving forward (get rid of the old fart who missed the mark with his 2014 MDX!!!!)
