Really? Last time I checked the hfl site there's a red x under advanced features: phonebook import(see link below). I got to borrow my sis' Iphone to load my #s. Thanks!

I think that Acura is not updating either the software or their website info, in keeping with a very dynamic technology world.

I just passed up on an I Phone, as their site showed no improved connectivity, against my HTC 8125 Windows PDA....and now a member form Edmonton, says he was able to transfer the entire phone book without probs.

The 8925 with 3G is 2 generations after the 8125/8525 and has less compatible features on the HFL site.

Iam now caught between a rock and a hard place.

Was there any trick to it? I have the 08 and tried transferring the contacts from my bb curve 8310 without success. It works fine for calls but it wont accept my contacts

 

The Canadian compatibility list has been updated as recent as Jan. 3/08, you can find it here http://www.acura.ca/assets/pdf/en/bluetooth_phone_list/HFL_phonelist_Eng.pdf (and it lists the iPhone). The list doesn't specify which features are supported with the listed phones.

 

I'm not sure about the compatibility of either the 8310 or 8320. I can only confirm the 8300 since that's the one I am using.

 

I have the 2008 MDX and I just recently purchased the MotoQ 9c. It works awesome with the MDX.

I just have one question though...the phonebook that you load into the navigation system and the phonebook that you use with the HFL seem to work separately of each other. I had to load the HFL separately just beaming the contacts from my phone. Any suggestions how to incorporate the two? Also, I need to delete a contact from my HFL, any idea how to do this? Thank you!
