I'm due for my "inspection", a.k.a., oil and filter change and no way am I paying the dealer $200 for this and worse, sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours. How do I reset the service reminder so I can do this myself for $30...

Thanks!
Rob

Read the manual...
What is this "manual" of which you speak? I am not familiar with such a thing... JK, thanks, I suppose that would have been a good place to start. I just didnt think any "secret" procedures would be in there so you would HAVE TO go to the dealer for this kind of thing.

Thanks,
R

Sorry to have sounded curt earlier - my ISP was cutting out.

Anyway:

1.Turn the ignition switch to the ON
(II) position.

2.If the engine oil life is not
displayed, press the SEL/RESET
button on the steering wheel
repeatedly until the multi-information
reads oil life.

3.Press and hold the SEL/RESET
button on the steering wheel for
more than 10 seconds. The
remaining engine oil life reset
mode will be shown on the multi-information
display.

4.Select ''RESET'' by pressing the
INFO ( / ) button, then press
the SEL/RESET button to reset
the engine oil life display. The
maintenance item code(s) will
disappear, and the engine oil life
will reset to ''100.'' If you want to
cancel the oil life reset mode,
select ''CANCEL.''
