If this has been discussed before, I apologize. If you have access to a gas leaf blower, high powered, use it to dry the car prior to towel drying. I have a high cfm (cubic feet per minute) backpack type blower that I use to remove over 95% of the standing water on my X, especially those hard to dry areas - wheel lugs, mirrors etc. This can be done in a couple of minutes. Then about 10 minutes of final towel drying does the trick. This process saves alot of time and effort. Give it a try!
