Complete Transmission Failure 2016 MDX

You need a new transmission. Same thing happened to me. Mine was specially painful as I just bought a used 2017 and less than 48 hours later CRUNCH!. My local Acura had the best price for remanufactured transmission and timing belt job. It was $7800 for both tranny and the timing belt job. I would normally do the T belt myself but my spirits were crushed and Acura dealer had the car for over a week before I figure out what I was going to do.

At least with Acura dealer you get 3/36 warranty on the tranny so that is some peace of mind.

I am having it towed on Monday to an acura shop... I will keep you informed. I am hoping that it is just a wire that has been chewed by a rat or something.. Last time I got an oil change they found a nest and a rat had chewed thru my windshield wiper fluid tube... I guess they like warm engine spaces when its cold? But I will have a reply next week!
Any update?
