When I removed that fuse from its location on my 2024 Type-S Advance, I lost my reverse camera and sensors.
I was just logging in to report this. I did they the other day, but due to snow, didn't have a chance to test this until yesterday. Pulled it out of the garage, and notice the reverse / 360 camera does not come on. Stays on either normal infotainment or carplay. Pulled it back into the drive way, and re-confirmed the fuse. third one from the bottom. Turn off the engine, open the door, closed the door. Put it in reverse - nothing. Replaced the fuse, and everything starts to work again.

At last on the Typse - S, that fuse must service both the cameras & ANC. And since it's not documented in the case of the Cameras, who know what else it may power. Bummed. I thin we need to create a separate thread regarding the ANC module. It appears Type S & regular MDX are different animals not only in the engine, but also elctronics.

I can confirm this is the same on 23 Type S. I just found the fuse, and removed it. Thank you for the tip! In my type s, one above it, 'active control mount' fuse was missing. What is this thing, and why is it not on the Type S?
ACM should be the active motor mounts. The Type S might not have them due to having stiffer mounts. I am not 100% sure but this is my belief.

Didn’t work on 2023 mdx sh-awd. I removed the active sound control but nothing happen. Still have lots of exhaust and engine noise. Lots of booming rumbling sound over bumps like the subwoofer. It sound electronically. Most noise vehicle I have own. No more Honda ever again. Been to dealership many time no help. Had the vehicle almost a year give me a headache every time I drive it. My Mazda cx5 is much quieter. Most expensive vehicle I ever own but the worst. This vehicle is a nightmare. Do not buy!

Wow. This thread is an eye opener for me and may solve what has been an ongoing annoyance for me. I had professional sound deadening done recently at an audio shop on my 2020Adavnce when they upgraded my speakers. After that work, the cabin has been nice and quiet...except for a strange low rumbling noise that comes on randomly, gets louder, and then shuts off suddenly. It vibrates the steering wheel when it get loud enough. I happens mostly at mid speeds, but occasionally on the highway. Seems so random. Not really happening when the engine is under load or when the car is shifting. Seems better for some reason when the sunroof or windows were open. Thought at first it was a wheel bearing, but I'm wondering if the sound deadening didn't confuse the ANC system. This would make sense to me given the timing of when the issue started and since the noise seems really unnatural to me. I have an appointment this week with the dealer for them to investigate. Will definitely be asking about the ANC, which I had no idea even existed until just now! Anyone know if it can be electronically adjusted or re-calibrated?

Ok. Probably wishful thinking that the loud intermittent vibrating/droning noise I'm hearing is the ANC. Makes sense timing wise, but had it happen really bad tonight, even with the sunroof open, and it just kinda feels mechanical. I can feel the vibration in the wheel and it's so loud; much louder than the engine and happens when I'm coasting mostly. Really hoping the dealer can diagnose and fix.

Hey all. I'm following up. Turns out the issue I was having with the loud, intermittent droning noise was indeed the ASC ANC system. After having two mechanics look at the car and finding nothing, I went back to my audio guy and had my rear factory speakers replaced to match my fronts - and the issue got worse. That's when I had told him about the noises and he knew immediately it was the ANC. After disconnecting the module, the mysterious low pitched droning sound is gone and my new speakers sound amazing. Also worth pointing out that the cabin is actually QUIETER without the ANC because my after market speakers were pumping in mis-matched engine noise. So glad I finally figured this out and a big warning to anyone who gets an audio upgrade and is hearing wierd noises in the car afterwards!
