This video is the Acura ZF 9hp trans fluid replacement I made.

This video shows the sh-awd fluid replacement, brake fluid, coolant, and transfer case.

he used the wrong differential oil . this will kill his SHAWD. there is no honda version of this oil
Google the owners manual for a 2017 honda pilot it says Honda DPSF-II on page 657
on a 2017 acura it says Acura DPSF-II page 561

You can also go to an acura and honda geniune parts website and see the part numbers of the rear end are the same. I won't be losing any sleep over an oil quart having an A on the part numbers.

Thanks for sharing . . . but I wouldn't use the same fluids you're using in the video.
I don't know what your 2017 MDX spec calls for, but for my 2015 MDX SH-AWD, I use Acura/Honda HGO-1 for T-case, DPSF for diff.
I use Amsoil in all my gear boxes for the last 15 years. In this case T-case. Except for import rear ends that require special friction modifiers like the sh-awd. Amsoil is king of premium oils especially in hypoid gear applications. Amsoil is a group 4 synthetics or better. Good luck getting that in an oem bottle. Most so called synthetics are group 3. A hypoid gear is a hypoid gear set no matter who designed or made it.

https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/AOC3410300 says it's good for both too.

This claims to have called Honda America. LOL With Audi they just put stickers over the VW part number.

In my phone call with Honda America, they put me on hold and came back to tell me that the Acura brand fluid is the same and fine for the CRV rear differential.
