I recently purchased my 3rd MDX and need to install a fuse tap to power my radar detector. I do not want to use the cigarette adapter. I need to find a fuse, on the drivers side, that is hot only when the car is on (i.e., switched bus). Which fuse location (#) should I use?

Hi,
I'm late to this party. If you want an alternative powering method use a low profile micro add-a-circuit in spot 45 in the driver side fuse panel. It will be labeled "accessory" and is in fact a switched fuse. It currently houses a 10 amp fuse. I have both my V1 Gen2 and my Thinkware U1000 dash cam wired through there and haven't had any issues. It's easy to run the wire up the a pillar and over to the center of the windshield.
