I recently purchased my 3rd MDX and need to install a fuse tap to power my radar detector. I do not want to use the cigarette adapter. I need to find a fuse, on the drivers side, that is hot only when the car is on (i.e., switched bus). Which fuse location (#) should I use?

Same issue here as well. I gave up as anything I touched was “hot” all the time. Also, the MDX is very finicky about the electrical systems as I removed a fuse to check the power and the car went nuts. Didn’t want any issues, so….

I ended up running a USB under the headliner, down the side of the pillar by removing the weather seal and placed the cord under the Tuxmat to the rear USB for both my detector and Dash Cam. Works great !
