So I'm looking at buying a 2018 or 19 MDX, SH-AWD. Coming from german makes, but I also have a 2012 Odyssey and the 3.5L has been rock solid reliable so the MDX has a lot of appeal especially for the interior.
Part of the problem is, unless I buy a maroney label, the listed options on the used car sites is a crapshoot. So I'm looking for some easy things I can look for to differentiate trim levels, based on the limited photos that dealers provide.
This is what i'm working with so far, that are easy ways to differentiate models - can you comment on if this is correct, or incorrect, or if there's a gray area? The more I can learn during research, the better I'll do.

- Photo of the keys - ENGINE HOLD button indicates car has either Technology or Advance package.
- Rear Entertainment System - this is an easy one, if there's a screen for the rear, it has the Entertainment Pkg
- Wood trim on the center console around the shifter buttons and cupholder - this indicates Advance package. If a car only has Tech package, then this trim is plastic.
