So my mom took out my car, 2003 acura mdx base, and it just shut down when they tried to start it. I couls hear a relay trying when I started, and the fuel pump, but it wasnt starting. It -had- electrical for auxillary, all the way back to the starter cut relay. I tapped the starter with a hot wire and it was able to start when I had someone turning the key. Starter is fine, so I go back to the relay, it wasnt getting power. I pull the relay, but I had to take off the driver's side under dash fusebox, and the relay was fine. I build it all back up, but now I get nothing when the key turns. If anyone has anything on testing, or any good way to get that fusebox put back together, the relays are against the wall and the parking brake, couldnt get them off without slipping and touching wires with my needle nose.

Hey @endlessatlas1, that sounds incredibly frustrating, especially how those relays are crammed against the parking brake. Since all power cut out after you put the fusebox back in, what was the trickiest part of getting it reassembled? Giving a few more details on that might help someone here spot what came loose.

I've somewhat figured it out, I missed one of the connectors, it looked like it got stuck behind more of the wires, since the wall behind it is covered with wires. I wasn't able to properly get the fusebox completely back where it goes, but it got close enough to be fine. It runs, wasn't the relays, maybe a fuse? I swapped the power window fuse with the starter fuse, and it starts, but the power window now goes back down if you send it up. Convenient if you would like varied airflow on the highway lol. Just check your fuses ladies and gents. I've still no idea how to properly get to that box, but I'm fine for now :)
