How difficult is that to replace? I am very much a fix it myself person, but not an auto mechanic, but very mechanical. Is it something doable with regular tools?

Where are you located? If you’re in a place where there’s no rust, it’s a walk in the park. If not, it could be a huge disaster. Why don’t you take off the wheel and see whether you can remove the sensor first.
