Congrats and good job competing them against one another. There are dealers itching to make sale and others play hard ball. For example, I had one sales manager say no way I could get the car for the price I was asking him to beat. Two weeks later he called and asked if I was still looking for a car and I was happy to tell him I got a price lower than what he said was impossible lol. There is a lot more room in these cars before any loyalty credits / etc than folks realize. Soon deals may be rare. I have a feeling 2026 prices will go up with tariffs in the 40 percent of parts not made in US.

It was $66100. There are two other dealers near me, both quoted me sticker price, but said they could do a conquest discount of $750 on a 2026.
What area? In the metro DC region, even the highest-volume dealers are sitting on a ton of inventory right now. I'm seeing advertised prices—before any haggling—that haven't been around in years.

For example, I just received an ad showing a 2025 MDX Advance A-Spec priced at $8,100 under MSRP. That’s a deeper discount than what I got just a few months ago. I purchased my 2025 MDX earlier this year and had to really work the deal—playing multiple dealers against each other—to get $7,250 off MSRP. Seeing what’s being offered now, I honestly wish I had waited.

Also, don’t overlook the accessories. You should easily be able to get 15% off all accessories and installation. Just make sure to negotiate those separately—outside the main purchase order. If you're only after something like mats, you'll usually save even more by buying them online instead.

If you’ve got the time and flexibility to walk away from your current deal, it might be worth shopping around a bit more. The market is definitely in the buyer’s favor right now.

Seems like dealers in your area playing games and are asking too much for their inventory.

I would check out car gurus or car edge to see how long cars sitting on lots in your area. I just looked at car gurus and there are 2026s in Fairfield, OH that have been on lot 60-83 days. There are also plenty of 2025s out there and they are identical to the 2026 MY except Acura removed some color combos in 2026 and jacked up the MSRP price $600..

In the picture above, I made a typo, a dealer near me is advertising 2026s at $8,100 under MSRP.
