Here's another that might help! However, I have still not been able to conquer the fact that my Screen continues to go into AA mode , brings up a WAZE Map of my last time I used it last week for a destination, and the last Music Streamer (Pandora in this case) on the split right side ?? I can't figure that Out .

I miss my '18 MDX. The only thing good about the '25 in my opinion is the transmission. Smoother. Absolutely dislike the Pad in the dash. The entertainment system is non existant, horrible to use! My wife just cannot figure out how to use the selections, screams at the dash trying to use her cell phone to stream music. Sitting in the driveway fiddling with her phone when she wants to get going. This whole idea of bring your own music is crap.
I found several YouTube videos which explained to my wife and me how to operate the technology. After a week or so we had it down. The touch pad was awkward to use at first, but now we love our CPO Aspec 2023.

Just got a 2025 Acura MDX AWD Spec Advanced. absolutely love it. Lots of toys to keep me busy. Test drove 5 other manufacturers and the MDX was on top and only one with a v6. Good luck on your search.
We love the V6, maybe paying for premium gas will get old but we love our Red MDX.

DITTO... I used Premium gas in my 22 MDX and the same in my 25. Every Blue Moon , I fill up at half tank with Regular or Mid Grade. In NY there is no 91 octane which is the recommended octane per Acura. It's probably a "head" thing, not scientifically measured by me, but I "feel" it runs better with Premium.

So what was this supposed to mean in your post? "I was wanting to upgrade my 2022 Acura MDX Advance to a 2025 model. And it apparently has the same issues."

What are the "same issues" you were referring to? That's what I was responding to. And why is this ADX stuff in an MDX forum? Not criticizing you, genuinely asking.
2025 MDX has Homlink as standard across all models.

absence of SXM Radio is a major let down. Dealer says they cannot install a traditional SXL Radio. Streaming does not work properl.
So far streaming has worked well for me. No problems.

What "Pad" in the dash?

Congrats on Your new 25 MDX Advance. I opted for a A-Spec Advance (25) - leased on Feb 1, 2025 in Urban Gray Pearl with Orchid Interior. Albeit I turned in my 22 Advance in Fathom Blue Pearl with a Gray Leather interior (loved the color as soon as I saw the Pics of it posted by a Poster in the "other Acura Forum. When I saw it Live in August 2021 on my preferred Dealer's Lot - I was Hooked on it regardless of the TTIP. The FBP color was like the fathoms of the sea - looking Blue/Black in certain light and a deeper Blue in other light. I have to say.....I miss that MDX - in retrospect I should've bought it at lease end. But my "heart" ruled over my "Brain" after wrestling with the decision for a months.

Having said that "regret" - The 25 MDX is simply a great SUV. I really LIKE (I reserve love for people ) the design, the look, the ride and road manners, the SH-AWD is Top Shelf, the comfort and quality is great. Truth Be Told, IMHO, the Touch Screen is a bit Over-Hyped. Other then the very performance of the TTIP in AA Mode (terribly SLOW ), I can say that after 42 months with the 22, the TTIP was not as bad as originally thought - at least in my book. And I had a SDAT Radio Receiver which I don't any longer. Really Liking the massaging seats - great on tthose longer trips. The "upgrade" to the B&O sound system is OK (lots of reviewers on line are ambivalent about the difference form the ELS system whcih was very good in my book). Perhaps I need to "play" with it some more using its "unique" sound shaping software.

I don't konw about others, but with 1400 miles on my 25, I find that the Tranny has a "jerky" upshift at 2md -3rd gear (I think - but difficult to tell precisely bc of the 10 Speed AT) and some times I feel it jerk a bit as i slow down to a Light. other posters have said to let the Tranny settle in some more. I do not recall my 22 behaving that way when new. That 22 was totally Trouble Free for the 42 months other than a Dead AGM battery a few months ago. That was weird, in that, one day stopped at a light, with the engine running, it Died - the dashboard lit up and I could not re-start it - only a few blocks form my house. After a minute or two - with Horns blaring form behind me to move, it re-started. I went right to the Dealer that day (I'm retired and have the time) , they told me it was the AGM battery - replaced under Warranty - No Charge. Note, Turn that freaking Engine on/Off - to off as soon as you put your seatbelt on. That engine On/Off silliness that doesn't save but maybe .001 off the MPGs - kills your AGM battery and can harm your engine / starter motor.
Auto Stop/start has got to be one of the worst requirements ever mandated. Hopefully, sometime in the future it can be eliminated.

You will regret the purchase of 25 MDX without Sirius XM Radio - a 20 year step back in time.
The person might not regret it - I consider XM a step back in time and inferior to the plethora of free streaming music/audio sources. It really comes down to an individual's preferences - some people obviously like it and are willing to subscribe to it but others don't find it appealing enough to subscribe to it.

The important point is that people need to be aware when they buy a vehicle that native XM capability may or may not be included in the vehicle and use that data as a factor in whether to buy the particular vehicle or not. One can't assume the old tech that was in their last vehicle will be in the new vehicle - for example, my vehicle doesn't have a cassette player built-in like some prior vehicles of mine had.

Spotify sound better than Sxm radio
Without a Doubt Spotify, TIDAL (even better in HiFi) and others too (I have Amazon Music with my Prime account) . However, having to use my Phone connection in AA for the SXM app SUX in comparison to having the SAT Receiver. It was easy peasy to use in any Mode. Just select, pick your channel, and Go !!

Mine has to reboot each time the vehicle is started - oftentimes you have to get Siri to revive/awake the station. It constantly freezes up - comes and goes - requires a lot of attention- just to listen to the radio and worst of all - if you don’t have your cell phone with you - you cannot listen to the radio.

That's an Excellent point. No Phone, no Sirius.
