Well, as an ol' Zaino pro, I decided to hunker down in cold Dallas today to try out Zaino's new ZFX polymer drying accelerant.
Surprise #1: You get this teeny, tiny bottle of the stuff. Fortunately you only use a few drops.
Surprise #2: You get 3 mixing bottles where you are supposed to put in say, 2 oz of Z2, 10 drops of ZFX and shake. Problem: the bottles are not graduated, so you don't have a clue how much is 1 or 2 oz. Solution: I used measuring cup, poured 2 oz of water in each and marked the line with a Sharpie. Sal, if you read this, consider supplying premeasured containers.
Surprise #3: The combination seems thicker to me than straight Z2 and went on thicker. Caution: be careful if you are used to Z2.....it's now easier to apply too much, and, as we all know, thinner is better with Zaino.
More later...
