We will be striking out for Yellowstone & the Tetons tomorrow. This will be my first time there.

Hope to have the car gassed, oiled, packed, and on the road by 4:00PM.

Our plan is for mostly hiking and will post any decent photos I get.

Bison, Bear, & Elk country?

Arrived back home Sunday with a renewed appreciation for our National Park System. We experienced so many scenic wonders and abundant wildlife. It is truly a National treasure.

The MDX ran flawlessly. It got us there and back in comfort with plenty of room for our provisions and gear.

The 10% grade out of Jackson WY topped 8000+ ft. It challenged other vehicles but not the X. Also had it up to 110 mph for passing on a few occasions with no trouble.

Closer to home (Off highway) the trip computer mpg flipped between 22.4 & 22.7. I’ll call it 22.5 mpg overall.

If you are into day or overnight hiking, Teton is the place to spend more time. This is where I witnessed a momma moose nursing her baby.
