Window Rattles (side)?

I could swear we once-upon-a-time discussed this, but can't find the thread:

Is it "just me", or do the side windows rattle quite a bit when partially up/down? I'm one of those guys who typically has 'em all the way up or down (no problems) but after a year (!) of ownership, cruising around with the driver's side down a few inches on a not-super-bumpy road, the rattle was really annoying. All 4 do it on mine.

I know the windows can be adjusted fore-and-aft in the tracks, but it appears to me that the tracks are actually a bit too wide in the middle (height), allowing too much side-to-side play of the glass.

Feature or fixable problem? Lemme know before I let them tear apart my panels; my thumb is still sore from the last time I refixed my dealer fixes.

Window Rattle

My first post:

I hear a distinct rattle from the driver side window when the window is all the way up. Any ideas?
Hmmm....no rattles here, but then again with front windows up and rear windows down, at 45+mph there is an incredible buffeting noise (Acura did NOT do proper wind tunnel testing!).

So I can't figure out if the windows rattle or not with all the din of the wind.

However, this is good. Whenever I don't want to hear my wife or kids talk, I just roll down the rear windows....heh heh heh.:D
rattles

I had the problem recently on the passenger side and the window would rattle when it was partially opened . The dealer replaced the window channel and it stopped the noise. I now notice it on the drivers side and will be bringing it in to see if they have to replace that side also.

Also Worm, when do I graduate from being a junior member and get to the next level.

Thanks for that info...will get that checked next time in. As we all know, it's nice to go in knowing what's supposed to get fixed :)

I believe 30 posts is the threshold for Member, then 100 for Senior. Dunno where the Super Senior comes in to tell ya the truth.
You get an extra star at 200 and Super Senior at 300. Guys like Worm are exempt.......if he put all the stars he deserves, there would be no space left in the avatar section.:D
