Hi. As I said in a prior post, this is the best and nicest car I've had and I want to get good products to take care of it. Where do people buy their cleaning products? Someone mentioned Autogeek and Detailed Image. Any other places? Griot's Garage? Or pick and choose what products you like and buy it from Amazon?

Appreciate the help....

Pretty much autogeek / griots / amazon.

Everyone has the same selection. For you, it seems like you need more research and it's not something that is easily covered in one thread.

Basically:

2 bucket method, good soap and good mitts
claybar
polish (if necessary)
wax

Don't buy a car cover. If you're worried about the front, consider 3m clearbra. Don't go through automatic washes. I specifically ask the dealership to either hand wash or don't wash at all and just vacuum.

Or find a local detailer and don't be surprised at the initial and maintenance cost.

Detailed Image has faster/cheaper shipping to the west coast. I also know a reseller who gives me 25% off my orders and has them drop shipped from Detailed Image. So I've pretty much stopped ordering from Autogeek.

Griot's Garage is my go to for the best microfiber towels. I've been using Chemical Guy's soap, latest I ordered was the Mr. Pink. I also use their buckets and grit guards. I believe my microfiber wash mitt is from CG's as well. And I bought some stuff from Obsessed Garage to make my electric pressure water even better, quick disconnects and 3/8" hose.

I spray off my cars with the white tip using the electric pressure washer, then foam cannon the car. Do a quick rinse with the white tip again, this gets all the big stuff off. After that I hand wash using the double bucket method.

I use CQuarts ceramic coating and Hydro Silex recharge every couple of months. I'm a little OCD but my wife's old Honda Pilot that was almost 10 years old sold super quick and the paint still looked amazing.
