I have always had a slight chirp since I have owned my 17 MDX...Noticeable when car is parked and idling. It just does not rise to an audible level when accelerating. I just had tb service done and the slight chirp still there. I asked dealer about idler pulley and he said they rarely replace them. should I care about the noise? getting OCD about it and irritated I didnt bring it up before they worked on the car.

Try spraying a slight mist of water on the serpentine belt with a spray bottle while making sure you get the ribs and smooth sides of the belt. If the noise gets worst or goes away it is a belt issue.
