Hey Neighbor, I call mine an SUV.
My mother-in-law has christened my black beauty "The Monster", and it appears to have stuck.
Got out in the morning mountain sunshine (before the rain arrived) and put a nice coat of wax on "The Monster" and boy does she shine.
Great poll, but I will be surprised if SUV does not win with at least 90% of the vote.

Since we have two Acuras, the MDX is the "truck". A few years ago it was the Maxima or the Jeep.

I think Auto industry should have a separate category for the MDX.
I think they should call it SMPV-
SPORT MULTI-PURPOSE VEHICLE.
The SUV acronym thing makes the MDX too much of a TRUCK thing...and I want to differentiate it from the harsh ride of those stereotypical Expeditions, Explorer, Yulons and Exterras and etc etc etc...

Interesting responses, expecially it's more of a car or van than a truck. SUV sounds too trendy and just doesn't roll of the tounge easily.
I too call it the MDX, but some people don't know what this is. So then have to call it an SUV. I've actually caught myself calling it all of the above, but most of all, its an automobile, or 'car' for short
