If you could add only 2 things to the MDX as standard what would it be? For me it would be HID lights (this is a luxury car for crying out loud) and Acura's sportshift 5 speed auto (The X5 has got it, so does the Hyndai Santa Fe for a ton cheaper, plus the CL,TL have got it)

Thats it for me. Add those to things and you got on hell of a beatuiful suv (not that without those things the MDX is ugly or anything, but you know what I mean)

Thanks
Evan

My Two Wish List

1. Internet Pkg: Ability to access email and browse internet through the LCD screen via connection to your cell phone.
2. Sports Pkg: To include HID lights, Sportshift and Beefy and Cool looking 18" or 19" wheels.

Oops, I think that was actually more than two:)

Here are my 2 things that I want to change in the next MDX:
1. Phone integration system/free hand phone call/answer
2. The tires are bigger and wider since this SUV has a wider track than that of the other SUVs in its class. I think it will look sportier , more aggressive, and nicer.

I forgot to add something to my list and I think its an important one. I think that having a 4 wheel double wishbone suspension is very important. I can't believe Honda/Acura has switched from the double wishbone to the new MacPherson strut design. Personally I feel like it is a downgrade, like before Honda/Acura had the most sophisticated design that you could make, now they have a plain run of the mill design with the MDX, Odyssey and the new Civic (Odyssey and Civic have front struts only)

Anyways thats it for me. Sportshift transmission, HID lights and double wishbone suspension.

Thanks
Evan

1. heated washer fluid when the defrost button is on
2. external monitor jack and logic so that the dvd-based navigation system can play movies for last two rows of passengers.

My 1998 VW Passat has #1 above. With the MDX "defeat winter" edict, I am surprised that the MDX doesn't yet have that feature.

I would add a BIG antenna for the TV, with a mirror in the
rear window so I can also watch the TV while I drive.

A bar with few bottles.

And this SUV is now a limousine!
;-)

Truth:
(I like this car so much that there is nothing I can see for now...)

Two Things to Add to the MDX

The two things I would add are:

1. Quaife differential for the front, which would allocate torque left or right for maximum traction.

2. Some type of attractive side moulding.

Here's two more:
Longer seats in the front for more leg support.
A rear window that opens independently>

  • *ability to play DVD movies on the navigation system, with extra flip down monitor for rear passengers
*SPORT SHIFT, as found with the Acura CL Type S
other than that, it's a beautifully crafted vehicle!
