Well, rolled in about 8 PM last night after a drive of 840 miles total.....it was great meeting those of you who attended! The crew was myself, Neicho, Starview, Harry, JPOW, NaNaLi, and Mushman. Harry was our "professional" photographer for the event, and hopefully he'll get around to posting pics in the next couple of days. Funny enough, we met at the Red Robin parking lot, and a SS MDX from Florida was eyeing us up, but never came over....was it any of you guys? :D Also at the Holiday Inn I stayed at, there was a Mahogany one with Mayland plates that I thought would have been attending, but didn't. Nevertheless, it was great meeting and hanging out with you guys!

The interesting thing was that out of the 6 MDXs at the event, each one was a different color (I drove a green CR-V). It was fun watching us all drive in procession!

I'd like to especially thank Neicho for the tour of the Pennsylvania State Police Academy. Gave us all a great deal of respect for what the cadets go through in training, and the officers when on duty. Maybe we can even get a few more of you guys to show up for the next one!

Thanks guys for a great time on Saturday and a big thank-you to Neicho for the tour of the Pennsylvania State Police Academy. The kids thought it was great (even if we all smelled like horses for the rest of the day). It was great to meet everyone. Would of been nice had we had a better turn out since the weather was perfect but maybe next time. Looking forward to see the pics. As Tim had stated, each of us had a different color and pretty much covered tham all (at least for 2001's) except for one (I believe).

As a side note, after we parted in the afternoon, the family and I visited the outlets and the infamous GG MDX from Florida was there. I parked a couple of spaces away and when we were leaving the last store and walking toward the car, the owner of the GG MDX was also walking toward their DX. We spoke for a couple of minutes and they did take notice of us meeting at the Red Robin because they asked about it. I told them that they should of stopped over even if they never heard of something called acuramdx.org.

I'm really sorry guys, but I couldn't get in there ... on time :( ...

I screwed up something in the morning just before the departure and spent more than half an hour trying to fix it up ... and here we were, - almost 50 mins late(we also had to stop because of the kids)... Really angry at myself... I've tried to reach Harry, but was not able: the best answer I got was "customer has left the car". In other cases - "customer left the service area".

I believe I saw some of the X-s on the parking lot, right in front of "The world of chocolate": SS, Beige and Black(I also think I saw this one coming in, since I parked near the gates, but lost track of it). When we were passing by the X-s on the parking lot I saw a family near SS, but when I approached to the car people already left and I was not sure enough if they were the owners.

On our way back one SS with Penn. plates(Honda Reading) was parked really close, but ...

Anyway, I'm glad to hear that you all had fun!

Nop, mine is GG... As it turned out after Harry posted the picture - non of the MDXs I saw were from the meet. I think we saw the same Blak one with NJ plates and there were SS and Beige on the next row at that lot.

That's funny, but I kept looking for the guys with some signs about the event or 'acuramdx.org'(like a hat or T-shirt) almost whole day...
He-he-he, - looser.

We had a lot of fun too!

Hey dfroim
I am so sorry we missed you. We hung around till about 12:30, but we still missed you. It would have been better if you and your family was there, next time!

Tim
I also enjoyed the line of Xs. I was at the back and a lot of people did a turn-around when they saw this unusual sight.
Thanks again for everything. I think our meet was a success and a hell of a lot of fun.

Hey Harry!
You have nothing to be sorry about, - it was all my fault!

My last hope was to get there at 12:30(i suspected you were gonna be there for about of 30 mins), but the only way to make it was to have an average speed of, at least, 85mi/h, which was not possible to do on a mountain road(i drove from the Poconos taking I- 80 and I-81)

Hey Harry!!!
Not that it's important anymore, but just out of curiosity.

After I told my wife yesterday that you were there till 11:30, I realized that you were talking about 12:30, not 11:30 as I thought mistakenly!

In my post I really meant 11:30, not 12:30, so if you hang till 12:30 - where? You did not mean on the parking lot, right? Even though I did not have any hope to meet you all at approx. 11:50 when we arrived, I went to the Red Robin parking first to make sure nobody's there... Please, do not tell me you were on the other side, making a complete looser out of me...

dfroim - As Harry had stated, we were in the Red Robin parking lot from 11:00am (and some even earlier) until about 12:30pm. We were on the west side of the parking lot closest to the Hershey amusement park. You could definitely see us from Hershey Park Drive (the main drag) since my kids starting pointing at all of the MDX's in the lot as we rounded the bend. From there, we just drove across the street to the police academy and hung there until after 2:00pm. It is unfortunate that you were so close and we could't hook up. Maybe we can do it again in the late fall and hopefully triple our attendance.

Lets Do It Again

Me, wife, and kids had a great time. The heat got to the lil ones but they loved the horses, and jpow - think the smell was you :D

Thanks to everyone for helping me celebrate my 34th birthday in style. The tour was fantastic - thanx Neicho, and really enjoyed lunch afterwards. My son (1.5 years old) passed out at the lunch table with a piece of chicken in his mouth and fry in his hand.

Thanks to all for the gifts. Will definitely come in handy.

There was a guy in a Grand Cherokee at a red light. We all crossed him and his head kept going back and forth like he was at a tennis match. The stares we got were awesome. More would have been merrier, but this was great.

To all - Hershey Park is great for kids of all ages. Thanks for the discount coupons bud.

Looking forward to another meet. Maybe I can get some nicer rims by then.

Kudos,
To all the came to the wonderful town of Hershey, As i said before there are a lot of nice things that happen on the net. And you can meet good people also on the net. By the way my wife kept saying all afternoon that she was smelling something that was really foul. Turns out if you remember that when i was holding horse with right arm he was slobbering on right shoulder. I then realized too it was me. LOL.

Mounted Team was at Dave Matthews concert on Sunday night they made over 200 arrests from Underage drinking to drug violations.
Thanx all for the gifts. :p

   ....

JPOW,
I do not know was I blind or what, but I was not only looking at the parking lot from the Hershey Park Drive (actually I wasn't), but I parked there, at the Red Robin, and got out of the MDX. My head was circling while I escorted kids into the restaurant for some business and out of it, back to the car. I even circled around Red Robin itself....

I'm totally confused - was I in a different time-dimension?

The fact I failed to find you while you were few feet away makes me complete looser! :3:

Harry,
If it were not that charge on my credit card for admission, I would've think myself that I was dreaming, but ...

I suspect you were on that part of parking lot that is right across the Park's main gate. Since there was some other restaurant over there(Wendy's or something like that, I do not remember), I did not consider it as Red Robin's parking and did not really check it(though looked in that direction anyway) and I did not drive that way(to the main gate) so I could've seen you from the road. After I got back to hte car I went to Chocolate World and parked over there.

This is the only explanation I have.

Still can't believe how close I was...:17:

Case solved

:4: We were parked close to Wendy's but still in the Red Robin parking lot:17:
We felt it was the most obvious location.
O well, next time we will meet up

Dfroim - Wow, so close but yet so far. Probably further confirms a wider cell number exchange next time so we can stay in contact. Just for the record, we were in a strong cell coverage area as I had 5 bars on the old strength meter all day. Either that or we need to all bring flare guns :) .

Mushman - I noticed the Jeep watching all of us as we passed in front of him as well - it was priceless. I think he had a serious case of "MDX Envy". Just think what his reaction would of been with about 25 of us. Maybe next time. One last note, now thanks to you, my kids have not shut-up about that audiovox DVD system that you so graciously showed them. Next time I see your kids, I may have to rent a live Barney character and buckle him / her into the back seat of my DX and show your kids what they are missing. I have to admit, it did look great and the best part of it is it keeps the kiddies quiet for hours on end. Next thing I expect to hear is that they will want a horse !!! Maybe we should of concentrated on the dog portion of the academy.

DVD

The 3 hour ride from Long Island was so quiet thanks to Barney and the DVD system. Trust me, it is a priceless addition especially if you have kids.

Gimme about 2 weeks and you will se emy upgrades planned for the system. I have everything at home, just need to find a couple of hours free to install. You know how hard that can be with my two little ones.
