I did an experiment as I wanted to body color match my door handles awhile ago. I vinyl wrapped one side while I plastidipped the other side. I wanted to test out it's durability on something that gets used and touched daily. Slightly over a year and a half, the plastidipped side started coming off in some areas. Redid that side in vinyl wrap and thought I'd share a few pics of the process. It's held up very nicely and I can't even notice any scratching in the gloss wrap. For gloss black it was a seamless match to the body's paint. This is a great alternative to an expensive and less durable paint process for something like this IMO.
