has anyone in the Bay Area found a good A/V shop that can / will do the Video on Navi conversion, and other things (like rear monitor, etc.)?

i'd like to have this done, but haven't found anyplace 'locally' yet where i wouldn't be a 'we'll do our best' job...

I have the project in the works right now...

Still looking for the perfect interface audio/video switcher. It might end up being the Pioneer unit since it has a wireless remote instead of knobs or wired remotes, I'll keep you posted. If you're in the SF/Daly City area see Henry at Monney. He is the shops tech guy, he fixes factory radios and aftermarket equipment. He would be the right man to talk to. He is working on the audio swithcher for my MDX so I can use it with my Panasonic DVD/CD in dash player.

Has anyone done this recently (Dec. 2004) using one of A/V shop in the Bay Area? I've tried calling serveral places (recommended by this forum), but all of them declined due to legal issues.

Any recommendation is appreciated...

SF Bay Area shop...

due to law changes since I did this modification to the MDX most shops will not do this type of work. Last I checked Henry of Monneys is working at the Redwood City location now. I would just check every shop you can in or around you area. Ask to see some of their installation work-photo albums of their installs or if they will allow you to take a tour of their facility and some work they are in the process of doing is a good indication that they have nothing to hide. Ask a lot of questions and if they answer it with a straight answer that you feel comfortable with then you might have just found the shop you want to have the installation done to your X.
