We just bought a 2014 MDX, 103K miles, and we noticed some vibration between 1000 & 2000 rpms and when stopped and idling. Took it to the local Acura dealership and they diagnosed it as a failed rear engine mount. I always know when I'm buying a used car with that many miles, it can have a myriad of issues that I'm willing to have fixed but I was hoping to maybe go a year without a repair like this. Part of our problem is the MDX replaced a Lexus RX330 with 334,000 miles. That may have created too high of an expectation given the years and miles. Upside is the dealership gave it a clean bill of health in all other areas. I mean, they had the usual maintenance list they always give you but I'm optimistic.

Did they replaced the timing belt yet? If they didn't this is going to be a huge repair bill; if this is the case, have them knock out the motor mounts while replacing the TB.
