The light comes on when I’m driving. It’s never on right away. I’ve looked at other posts on this. I can monitor my tire pressure manually as I have a tire inflator. Is this something I need to worry about?

I bought this car for short rides and that’s it. Also, I took it in for service. That mechanic said I was good to go until my next oil change. I just wanted to ask here as I’m still fairly new to owning this car as it’s been just a year and a few months.

Check your tire pressure yourself. Sounds to me one of the TPMS monitors has a low battery

There isn't a way to replace just the battery for TPMS. You have to replace the entire sensor inside the rim. Lifespan for TPMS is around 10-14 years on average (I'm on year 14 on my 08 RDX). You just have to check your PSI manually and plan on changing them all out eventually as the others start to fail. Don't know if you live near a Discount Tire store; but, they do free PSI checks and you can do that each month. Tires will naturally drop 1-2 PSI every few months. Don't forget to check the spare.
