So finally I have found the root of the delays for shipment of these mouldings....apparently there is a color match issue with them. I guess the paint on the mouldings does not accurately match the vehicle.

Acura has approximately 700 on backorder, with me having around 45 backorders on them at present. I'm very sorry that I can't give you an ETA on these mouldings, and I know that there are a lot of you that have placed orders and have not received anything yet.

Two options:

1. If you placed your order online, you may call me for a refund of the moulding price if you do not wish to wait for the backorders to clear.

2. I will keep everybody posted (and will do so in this thread and via email for those backordered) when I have a definite date of arrival for the mouldings. I've pressured as much as I can, but this apparently is a supplier problem.

If anyone has any questions, please phone me....I have been swamped with emails as of late regarding this issue.

speaking of Mouldings - My dealer got the BSMs in stock too.. I told him that I bought them from you (Tim) and asked him if he can do me a favor and put his ON for me and take mine into his inventory.. he said 'no'.. bastard.. but, get this, he charges $250 for them... When I told him how much I paid - he asked where.. and I said "do the swap and I'll tell you"...

Unfortunately most dealers are not in business to "do any favors". The moldings are real easy to put on, although I had a helper which made the job even easier. The template was of great assistance.

THEY'RE IN!!!!!!!!!

Granite Green mouldings HAVE JUST ARRIVED!!!

All of my backorders will clear between today and Monday (hopefully today).

Okay, working our absolute tails off, we managed to get 40 of the 42 backorders we had out the door!!!!!

The rest will be out on Monday, when more stock comes in. Everyone that had mouldings on backorder should have emails in their inboxes with their UPS tracking numbers on them. If you don't have one, it could be because the email address that I had for you was invalid or I wrote it down wrong

If you had these mouldings on backorder and didn't get an email, email me and on Monday I will get your tracking numbers to you.

Sean and I are dead tired (in case some people didn't know, we don't have "shipping people". The two of us do it all). What a day!

I recieved my BSM for my GG MDX this AM at work and installed them during my lunch break.

Thanks to Tim for his wonderful service and thanks to those who offered tips and photos which really helped with the installation of the Body Side Moldings.

I'm very pleased and grateful.
