First the news....
After 4 months of research, (using this site!) and two months of waiting, I'm now the very proud owner of a Red Rock 188! (Yeah baby!)
Now the real reason for my post......
I live in Southern California. My MDX salesman told me that because the MDX is designated ULEV, I can do to the DMV and get some kind of document/certificate/sticker that will allow me to drive in the carpool lane. (Single passenger.)
Now, I know that electric and hybrid vehicles can use the carpool lane, but a ULEV vehicle?
My salesman said the one of his customers actually spoke to a California Highway Patrolman, who said the same thing.
Once I get my plates, I'm planning on going down to the DMV and see if this is true.
