nice. but now your car is full of dust.still not quite as much ground clearance as you'd want but it never even almost got stuck. took some air out of the tires as is standard sand procedure.
the real hicks in their ram's and wranglers were definitely giving it some bewildered looks lol
this is true - i'm still finding sand from last year hahahanice. but now your car is full of dust.
time to wipe down the dash and clean out the cabin filter.
this was democrat point, and it was a weekday so not too much activity. we originally went down to bike ride on ocean parkway, and then went to the beach right after. demo doesn't open until 5 so we were also one of the first ones there. i'd feel a bit uneasy about taking it to sore thumb, there's some much deeper sand there. the entrance to this was already a bit hairy haha..Hey 1999LS400 - Where on LI was this. Was this out at Sore Thumb? Where were all the other trucks??
even if you don't need to let air out i've been told by the proper beach hicks with real 4x4s that you should always let some air out. makes it less strenuous on the drivetrain and frequently prevents you from getting stuck when you might've had you not aired down.Nice! Welcome to the MDX Off Road team..
To add. You could also do hill climbs dont even need to let air out:
there's more stress on the drivetrain when there's a smaller contact patch because the car has to has to work harder and the wheels will be slipping moreLess Air = More Contact Patch = More Stress on the drivetrain.
More Air = Less Contact Patch = Less Stress on the drivetrain.
At least that´s AFAIK.
