I was driving the MDX last night (my wife drives it 80% of the time, lucky her) and noticed that the turn signals do not always self-cancel after the completion of the turn, they have to be turned off manually.

Did anyone else notice this problem on their MDX?

You may notice that you have to turn the wheel a bit more for cancellation to occur than with other vehicles. It seems that way to me, but really not out of line.

My complaint is that the turn signal annunciator is not loud enough, so at times I am driving around with it on and people look at me like I have 4 heads. I guess I am in the minority on this issue....I have posted before on this topic and got no sympathy.....sniff sniff....I think I will take my toys and go home.

After owning a '94 Volvo, which requres a huge correction of the steering wheel to cancel a signal, I didn't even notice the extra "room" in the MDX signal cancellation. Of course, that was just on a few test drives.

Even when the real thing gets here, I'm looking forward to a relatively normal signal-cancellation angle. There have been times I've actually oversteered the volvo to cancel the friggin signal. (Yet another reason to be happy to change cars...)

Looks like Octavian has earned the title of "Senior Member"

I've only noticed this on turns that aren't quite 90 degrees, but then there is that flashing light in front of you... (and in my case, a kid will whup me in the back of the head).

One sure way to avoid this is to drive at NIGHT. Then you can see the light. You can also drive with your flashers...then no one rides your blind spot and you've got control of most of the lanes. Keep 'em guessing.

Agreed! My first day of driving home from work in my new 'X, the last turn into my road - 240SX cancels the turn siganl - MDX did not - but being the defensive driver I am (and used to driving different rental vehicles) I caught it right away. Would be nice to have - but bottom in my list!!!
