Re: 2010 X with 88k miles

Happy Thanksgiving. Got our first TPMS system failure. No readings for any wheels. Good bet I have a bad sensor since they are original, but could be an initiator or the control module itself. Is there any way to determine the specific DTC without taking it to the dealer? Thanks.

I have the same question, I think you need a Honda Diagnostic System. I think a Foxwell T1000 is needed if you want to reprogram sensors. I think the Foxwell NT510 can read and reset but not reprogram.......so you need more than an OBDII bluetooth scanner. Obviously, there are competitors to Foxwell on the market, not sure what is best.

You can visit a tire shop and most can check which sensor is the bad one with their handheld tool near the valvestem.

Hey if you’re adventurous, you can find which one has no battery left, replace the battery and rebuild the sensor
