Basically, I'm fighting to get these backorders released from American Honda. All I need is for you to email me to get the ball rolling. I can explain in a response.
The help that people have given me thus far has already started to work, and much, much faster than I expected. Yesterday I received two phone calls from the supply department at American Honda personally asking for me and giving me the breakdown of how things will happen....and they are getting results! I have a lot of respect for them for the effort they put forth, and in turn they have a great deal of respect for me for what I've been able to do in the area of sales and (up until now) customer satisfaction.
If you are waiting on parts that are backordered or in process, believe me when I tell you that I am working tirelessly on getting things done. I make at least half a dozen phone calls each and every day in the attempt to get everyone's orders filled (and I've been eating a lot of Tums).
A special thank you to Acura district manager Pete Delorme, who has gone far above and beyond the call of duty with helping me fill these orders. I am very grateful for what he's doing, I just hope it doesn't get him into trouble (which it might). He is without a doubt, the most customer-focused and loyal representative of Acura that I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with.
