I need a test pilot for a very high quality MDX trailer hitch receiver cover. Person doing the demo must post pics and an honest impression of the product. In return, you get to keep it. Obviously the tester must have a trailer hitch package.

Who's up for a freebie? :2:

Zafer was the first to reply, so he'll get the cover. I'm sorry to all that missed out :(

It will be in within a few days, and I'll send it out the door.

MDX Hitch Cover

:29:

I received the hitch cover. Over the weekend I'll get a shot of it installed on the MDX. It is medium weight aluminum, and sharp looking. It measures 8"x3.5" and is for a 2" receiver. Contact Tim to get yours.

No, it is tad loose, but you can pry it open a millimeter or two and it should fit tight. Its aluminum.

Looks really good. Do you know what price Tim has on it, yet?

Question zafer: Why did you remove your MDX badge, and how'd you do it?

Sorry, I don't know, contact Tim.

Regarding the badge: I never had the MDX badge installed. I think it is a little to large, the hatch looks better without it imho. I still have it in the box. It should be really easy to remove, its just cheep plastic like the Acrua emblems. You can cut through the sticky contact with a piece of string using it like a saw left-right motion, or just wrap the tip of a screwdriver with some soft tape, like electrical tape, and pry it off. Then clean the residue with Acrasol (I don't think thats how its spelled), it is safe for the paint and clear coat. I actually bought a second MDX badge from Tim's scratch and dent sale. I might install one on either side of the X. Maybe on the fender between the wheel and front door. Haven't thought much of it yet.

What do you mean you never had the badge installed? Doesn't it automatically come from the factory with it on? You're correct about how to remove it though.
