New owner of a 2016 Advance and love the interior except the shinny wood. Was thinking of changing out to the 2017 matte parts. Anyone else think of doing this?

Yes. The dash ones are easy to change out, but I'm waiting for the prices. The fake wood pieces on the front console are $70, $70, and $84, so I can imagine the real wood ones to cost about $300+, which may make it not worth it (will check the junk yard listings and ebay as they wreck though!).

Doors are probably going to have to stay the way they are... Part of the door card I think, but I need to check. Those are $250 a door card.

Personally, I wouldn't mind it if someone made aftermarket brushed aluminum replacements instead, but the aftermarket for this vehicle is dead.

What about paying a shop to wrap them. I've wrapped some trim on my bmw and it looks pretty decent. The door would be the biggest annoyance as I'm not sure of the difficulty to remove that insert
