It sounds as though there were two possible weak links in the sound system, both the sub and the amp. In retrospect, proskunetes, do you think that the OEM sub may have improved in sound amplitude and quality with the amp upgrade, since the replacing the sub only produced no improvement? That is, do you think that someone else choosing to improve the bass quality should invest in the amp first? Or do both need replacing to achieve a considerably noticeable improvement?
