Hello.
Have a next task:
I have speedometer cluster from MDX Advance (from Canada with km/h metrics) and I need to integrate it in my MDX Techno 2012.
Please, let me know, will there be any problems with Advance-systems indicators like ACC, CMBS, BSI etc.? These indicators will be shine or not?

I think the Base/tech -vs- Adv models have different wiring harness along with instrument clusters. Wouldn't know if an Adv instrument cluster would connect up to a tech wiring harness?

What is the Tech model equivalent in Canada? May be you can try to source from scrap yards?

Going slightly off topic, it would be interesting to see if these can be updated programmatically (except for speedometer which has printed text) in MID.

In Canada MDX has three models.

BASE
TECHNOLOGY
ADVANCED

Hmm I thought I saw Elite & sports in the trims when i looked in autotrader for 2011 MDXs hence the question.

The 07-09 had the base, tech, sport models (Ent option with sport/tech). The +10 had the base, tech, Adv/Elite, without without Ent for the Tech/Adv/Elite models.

Acura added the following to the 2010-2013 Advance/Elite models:
- ADS Magnetic ride control supension
- CMBS auto braking
- ACC adaptive cruise control
- BSI for blind spot alert located in cabin by side view mirrors
- seat belt pre-tensioners
- auto leveling headlights
- 3 way heated and cooled front seats
- 19" rims
- few extra buttons on the steering wheel, center console, and dash for BSI, ACC, ADS, and CMBS functions.
- larger front/rear stabilizer bars
- additional M.I.D. display and sounds for CMBS warning and using ACC functions

The 07-09 Sport just had the ADS suspension and larger front/rear stabilizer bars.

Erroneous statement!
I found a specialist who downloaded the firmware from the old dashboard and installed it in the Canadian dashboard. Everything works great.
Such specialists are in Russia (Moscow) and Belarus (Minsk). If you need their contacts, please contact me.

All data was correctly transferred. But! The total odometer was 59 462 miles and afer transferred it has become 59 462 km.
In most places that would be an issue. Can it be fix it?

I remember when I had to swap out the cluster in my old GMC Sierra they had to retrieve the proper Kms from the computer and reprogram.

so wait a minute...you are saying that these ppl can do this from a remote location and make it work? for example me in ohio could have them perform the firmware download from my current cluster and load it into the new cluster?
