I was up skiing at Tahoe last week. We got about 4 inches of snow one night. I opened the driver's door and snow then slid off the roof onto the driver's door armrest/window switch area and on to the tweeter speaker. What a mess. It was cold out so it didn't melt much and I was able to pick most of it out. Guess from now on I will clear a few inches of snow off the roof before opening the door.

This will happen with any vehicle. I always make sure to brush snow off the door "seams" before I open. In a sports car (with more of a curve in the doors) you will usually end up with a pile of snow in the seat.

Well, guess you can tell from my location that I don't deal with snow on a daily basis, so I wasn't even thinking about that when opening the door. Thanks for the tip.
