Hi all,

I recently buy some front seat sheepskin covers and they are comfortable...but my wife really dislikes them because it creates static and would zapped her when she steps out of the vehicle. Is there any anti-static spray that I can used to eliminate this problem. I paid mucho $$ for the covers and would love to keep using them without the zapping problem. Any suggestions?

Yahoo! I finally have something to contribute! (Have been lurking and impatiently waiting for delivery of my Mesa Beige since October - hurry up February!)

My suggestion is that you take a fabric softener sheet for the dryer (Bounce, etc.) and rub it over your seat covers. No residue, no lint, and as an added bonus, will keep the skeeters away in the summer!

Hmm, that's better than my solution - I was going to suggest attaching a grounding strap to your wife's ankle to keep her more-or-less charge-free. :)

An added benefit - she could swap boards in and out of your computer without damaging the chips!

Ghost, thanks for the welcome. Why am I not surprised by your post? ;)

Vuhu, you could also try "Static Guard," an aerosol product you can pick up at any grocery store/WalMart/drug store. Good for keeping dresses/slips/pantyhose from clinging out of control, should work here too if you're not inclined to try the dryer sheets.

Ghost, anything to add? I'll bet you can't resist.

Gee, Vuhu, I don't know about the "Static Guard."... If you're wearing your wifes' dresses/slips/pantyhose, you might have a bigger problem than just static electricity!!!:D

Sorry, I saw that opening and couldn't resist!
