Running into forum members...

I just got back from our third road trip from LA to SF in the MDX. I've noticed a very significant amount more MDX's on the road. When I first got the car in August, I saw two other MDX's on the road (one was GHM 2112). This time, I saw at least 20. They're getting as common as Civic's....

But I would assume that the probability of running into other board members is getting higher. Have people run into other .org members before? Share your stories!
GHM 2112 and I ran into each other in Napa valley. We had joked about looking out for each other, and passed each other on the way. Wish we had stopped to say hi.

FatBoy, I was thinking about this, too, given the large number of MDXs I now bump into everyday around Chicago.

Then again, when you consider that there are only about 2,700 members on this site (many of them not owners or not yet owners) compared to 35,000 MDXs (not sure of exact production # to date), the odds get pretty slim that any given MDX is one of our friends here...

Best way to "run into" forum members is to start a club in your area. I am trying to start a North Texas (or all Texas) club, but have had only 2 other forum members post.

Maybe one day we will get together to admire each other's MDXes

FWIW I have seen my "twin" at the grocery store 2 times in the last 2 weeks - and the license plate # is only 7 digits off mine. Both mine & the other Black/Saddle were delivered from DMD in Plano.

I didn't have any "you've been orged" cards with me - so don't know if the owner is a member of the forum or not.

I'm hoping some of you guys will show up this Saturday, details in the thread linked here: ( http://www.acuramdx.org/forums/showthread.php?threadid=3699 ). The are lots of trails at Withlacoochee that are nice and wide, so no fear of scratches

Maybe JLive, O-Town, MDXNole, or BellTeck will show up?

Check out the Metra train parking in Western Springs during the week and you will see 3, one of which is a forum member

. Up where you live, the rich folks have their nanny's, au pairs or butlers surf the net and give them a report!

This hard-working household excluded, of course.

Other than you out west and a couple folks farther north, I haven't seen any members here who are neighbors--this despite seeing dozens of MDXs around here. C'mon, north shore people, step up and join up!

Then again, remery, there are probably a lot of clubs they already belong to.
