When I was deciding on my fender flares, I really wanted to see what they would look like, so I could decide whether to paint them or not. I looked at them on other colors and tried to imagine what they would look like on red. I finally decided not to spring for the paint, and I like the results :) . I though other people who were making the same decision might like to see some pics, so here it is without the flares:

I really like the addition of the fender flares on your X. The contrast of the grey on the Red Rock really looks sharpe!

Stock Flares

Good choice! While I think the monochromatic looks good too, the contrast of the OE flares with the RR looks better. It is imhop not at all derivative of a Ford Exploder. Makes the X look "tougher". I opted to keep mine stock on my MBeige X. I also like the contrast and match with the front and rear "skid plates". I also installed satin finished Helo 7's (17x7.5) to further match the flares. Your RR however, looks really sharp with the contrasting flares!

I have the exact redrock with stock flares. The other day, some lady remarked that she really liked "the two toned color scheme" and that it must be the top of the line SUV. My remark was, "you are a really intelligent and observant individual" :D
