or the sample insert in the brochure? When I look at the sample color chip in indirect light it looks pretty dark - almost black at some angles; but, in direct sunlight it sparkles and looks almost metallic...beautiful. I know this is subjective and personal, but I wonder would it be TOO much of a red thing?

I think Acura site's car picture is isn't good, particular on the Red Rock. See this link on a post from the other post

How the picture shows up on the monitor is not always accurate due to variation of screen colors.

Most folks who have the digital camera at work are out, and I couldn't borrow it. Sorry, it's taking so long to post the pictures. However, the pictures posted by RedrockMemphis are very accurate. This is exactly how the car looks like.

Yes, GCK. I saw the pics from RedMdxMemphis. They are superb and the color is much much better and impressive than I thought (the old Honda flat red). Good choice of color.

You are right on how the color turned out. It really was a fine job (again an Acura quality) Honda did in choosing this color. A regular red would have mess up the whole car's image. Also it's nice for me to mention it being the "First Red MDX in Memphis."
