Hi All

2005 MDX:

I had a coolant leak in the lines/pipes that heat the rear part of the cabin. Rather than fixing it (would have been quite expensive), i decided to bypass those lines. I drive alone on the car and did not really care about shutting off the heat on the back permanently.

Now Im thinking about what I did and wonder if this would cause any other issues such as changing the compression pattern of the rest of the coolant lines/pipes or some other issue. Thoughts?

Thanks

Nothing to worry about. The only thing that really changes is the total fluid capacity for the system, but you've probably already dealt with that when you replaced any lost coolant from the process.
